Billing schedule and payment terms
- Invoicing: Parents of returning students are invoiced four to six weeks prior to the new academic year. - Instalments and key due dates: Tuition fees are payable in two equal instalments — generally no later than 31 July and 15 December of the academic year; for DP2 (Grade 12) the second instalment is due 15 November. Per‑instalment amounts equal one half of the annual tuition shown above. - Early‑payment discount: A 3% discount on the total annual fees is available if the total fees are paid in full on or before 31 July 2026 or within 30 days of raising the invoice, whichever is later (available to continuing students from the previous academic year). - Late payment surcharge and consequences: A monthly surcharge of 2% is applied to total outstanding dues older than 30 days. If full fees are not paid within one month following the deadline, the student may be barred from attending classes or participating in Academy activities.
Refund and withdrawal terms
- Security deposit: Refundable when a student leaves the Academy provided the required written notice has been given and "No Dues" clearance is obtained. No interest is payable on the deposit. - Withdrawal notice and refund scale: - For withdrawal from the next academic year: written notice to Admissions by 31 March of every year is required; if notice is received after 31 March, the withdrawing student must pay the full term fee until December of the next academic year. - For withdrawal from the next term of the academic year: 90 days' written notice is required before the beginning of the next term. If the withdrawal application is not received as required, the following charges apply: 60–89 days before the start of the next term — 25% of next term's fees; 30–59 days — 50% of next term's fees; less than 30 days — 75% of next term's fees. No refund of the next term's fee is given after the start of the next term.

The Aga Khan Academy Hyderabad offers the International Baccalaureate (IB) curriculum and is an IB World School authorised for the Primary Years Programme (grades 1–5), Middle Years Programme (grades 6–10) and Diploma Programme (grades 11–12). Aga Khan Curricular Strands, implemented across the curriculum, include Ethics, Pluralism, Cultures, Governance and Civil Society, and Economics for Development. The IB status is acknowledged by the International Baccalaureate.

1. Eligibility and language requirements. Admission is competitive and based on merit. For Junior School (Grades 1–5), entry ideally requires at least three years of nursery education, and the student must be 6 years old by September 1 of the entry year; in the last three years of the Primary Years Programme, applicants must have a basic proficiency in both English and Hindi. For Senior School (Grades 6–12), applicants should have high scholastic achievement and demonstrate participation in extracurricular activities or community service; Diploma Programme entrants must have outstanding academic achievement and active involvement, and new students will not be admitted in the year of the Diploma examination.
Admissions
ISH follows a rolling admissions policy and accepts applications year round. The admission process is five steps: Step 1 Inquire and Visit to learn about the curriculum, facilities and community; Step 2 Apply online through the provided online application system and complete six items: the online application form; two years of school reports with translations if applicable and grade transcripts for high school; psycho‑educational reports or ILPs/IEPs if relevant; copies of applicant and parent passports and Indian visa if not Indian; birth certificate and immunization records; the Admissions Character Reference form sent to the current school; and inform ISH of completion by email; Step 3 pay the one‑time nonrefundable registration fee; Step 4 an admissions meeting and review with the divisional principals, counsellor, admissions director and Head of School; Step 5 the admissions committee makes the final decision and informs you by official email, and if accepted, you pay the enrolment fee within 7 working days. The Admissions Office is open Monday to Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and families may connect in person or online at any stage. ISH accepts applications throughout the year and the school year runs mid-August through mid-June.

2. Apply and documents. Applications can be completed online via OpenApply or through downloadable forms; copies of the applicant's last two grade reports, birth certificate or passport, Aadhaar card, vaccination (Junior School), two passport-sized photographs, and an application fee of INR 3,000 are required. A completed financial aid form must be submitted with the application to apply for a bursary. Scholarships are available through the Aga Khan Academy Hyderabad Scholarship Programme with a merit- and needs-based framework. 3. Merit-based scholarship programme details. Up to six merit-based scholarships are on offer for outstanding Indian students who demonstrate leadership in service to others, innovation in STEM, environmental responsibility, performing arts, or team sports, with awards covering up to 100% of school fees including residential fees. The programme is open to new residential admissions in Grade 9 or Grade 11 in July 2025. Eligibility requires Indian nationality residing in India, exceptional academic ability, and potential to benefit from IB and Aga Khan Curricular Strands, with needs-based considerations. Applications should indicate interest in the scholarship during the normal admissions process; an initial assessment will determine suitability, shortlisted candidates will have a personal interview with the Dean of Admissions, and final selection includes an interview with the Head of the Academy and the Dean of Admissions.
