Tuition fees by year group (annual and calculated per-term)
The published annual tuition for the 2025/2026 academic year is shown below (amounts in Kuwaiti Dinars). Per-term figures in parentheses are calculated by dividing the published annual fee by three (Annual ÷ 3) because a term-by-term breakdown was not published. The per-term numbers are presented for convenience and are calculated values, not an official school breakdown.
- Parents are required to pay tuition fees on or before the due date indicated on the school invoice. - The school's published figures are shown as annual tuition totals; a three‑installment structure (September, January and April) is commonly used across American-curriculum schools in Kuwait and is the basis for the per-term calculations above (per-term = annual ÷ 3). Those per-term amounts are calculated values for reference and are not a published BIS schedule.
Boarding fees
- Al‑Bayan International School operates as a day school; there is no boarding provision.
Other costs and mandatory charges
- Uniform: student uniform is mandatory from KG1 through Grade 12. No published uniform price was available. - Additional costs that families should expect (amounts not published): textbooks and book packs, exam fees (external assessment / university‑entrance testing where applicable), school trips, after‑school activities, and optional or route‑based transportation. These items are commonly charged separately to tuition.
Refund information
- A specific, school‑published refund policy for tuition, registration or other fees was not published in the available fee material. The school requires the registration fee with application; schools in Kuwait commonly treat some application/registration payments as non‑refundable. Where other schools publish explicit deposit/refund rules those vary by school and by timing of withdrawal. The per-term figures above are calculated values and not a statement of refund terms.
Fee payment options
- No detailed, school‑published list of accepted payment methods (credit card, bank transfer, cheque, etc.) was found in the published fee material reviewed. Schools in Kuwait commonly accept bank transfer, cheque and/or card payments. Cheque payment instructions are used by other Kuwaiti international schools.

1. Registrar checks for available seats in the requested grade before asking for documents. If a seat is available, the registrar collects the basic documents required by the Ministry of Education, which include civil ID and passport copies, the last three years of report cards, and a Behavior Report from the previous school.
2. If the registrar has any concerns about the student, they contact the school counselor to discuss the candidate with the student.
3. After reviewing the documents for eligibility, the registrar calls the parents and arranges an interview with the Vice Principal and Counselor.
4. The student meets with the Vice Principal and Counselor; if the criteria are met, the student is required to take and pass the Admission Academic test, and if passed, enrollment proceeds.
5. If the student fails the interview, the Counselor informs the parents that they will be notified later about the decision.
6. If the student passes the interview, the registrar provides the Certificate of Conduct form to be filed and stamped by the previous school; a No Objection Certificate is issued to continue the registration process on return to DUSK.
7. After all documents are received, the Registrar signs the document checklist and sends the parents to the cashier for payment.
8. MOE registration considerations apply for the academic year 2025/2026, including registration deadlines, age requirements, class size rules, and required documents.
9. Registration deadlines and age bands: Kindergarten and Primary open on March 16, 2025; new students by May 25, 2025; transferring students by October 30, 2025. Middle and Secondary begin in April 2025; new students by May 25, 2025; transferring students by May 24, 2025. Age requirements (as of September 15, 2025) are KG1 at 3 years 6 months, KG2 at 4 years 6 months, and Grade 1 at 5 years 6 months (e.g., children born on or before March 15, 2022 may register for KG1). Class size limits are 25 students per Kindergarten, Primary, Middle, and Secondary class. Required documents include an entry certificate from the Ministry of Interior, the original and a copy of the latest academic certificate, any equivalency approvals, a Certificate of Good Conduct, and a No Objection Certificate from the Examinations and Equivalency Department; students on certain visas are not eligible for registration.
