ASW runs an annual application process that opens in September of the year prior to the commencement of the next academic year. Create a parent account in the online application portal and read the User Guide to Admissions. Check the Grade Placement Chart to determine the grade your child would qualify for, then fill out the online application form and upload the necessary documents and pay the USD 150 ( PLN 600 ) application fee. The required documents include scans of both parents passports as well as your child's passport and/or birth certificate, full academic reports from the past two years, and any specialist reports if applicable. Teacher questionnaires are submitted through the online form, with the number of teachers required depending on the grade. After submission you should receive a response within two to three weeks.
Admissions
Preschool admissions: The Preschool accepts children aged 3–6 (with the Principal and Managing Board's consent, the Preschool may admit children older than 2½). Enrollment requires a meeting with the Principal with the Parents and child present, completion of the admission form, signing of the Agreement on Education, payment of a non-refundable one-time admission fee (tariff available), and completion of the medical form. Admission is year-round, subject to places being available; if there is no place, the child can be placed on a reserve list. The Principal decides on admission; the first-come-first-served principle does not apply. Required documents include the Admission Form, Agreement on Education (two originals), payment of the non-refundable admission fee, payment of a deposit, previous school certificates or report cards, and completed CSW documentation (consents and declarations). Scans of previous documents are initially sufficient but must be followed by signed originals, and proof of identity (ID or Passport) for both parents and child is required at submission. Downloadable documents include the Preschool Agreement and Tuition Fees. Elementary admissions: The School operates an open admission policy and welcomes new students at any time during the academic year if places are available. We accept pupils aged 6–14 (Grade 1–8) and teach in English under the IB Programme alongside the Polish national curriculum. REQUIRED DOCUMENTS: Admission Form; Agreement on Education (two originals); payment of a non-refundable registration fee; payment of a deposit; previous school certificates or report cards; completed CSW documentation (consents and declarations). Scans are initially sufficient; signed originals are required later. The School requires an ID, a Passport, or an equivalent document at submission to confirm identity of both Parents and child. STEPS OF ADMISSION PROCESS: 1. Fill in the online application form ‘Apply Now'; 2) Submit report cards and school certificates (scans initially, originals later); 3) Placement testing (at the Principal's discretion, depending on documents, grade level, and language proficiency); 4) Application review (admission may be granted, denied, or the student placed on a waiting list); 5) Sign the Agreement on Education and complete the Admission Form; 6) Pay registration fees and other required payments; 7) First Grade Admission procedures (if the child attended The Canadian Preschool, School Readiness Diagnosis is needed; if not, an English/Polish test is required plus a homeroom teacher's evaluation; parents may be asked for a psychologist's opinion; testing may involve an interview with the School Principal; testing dates are communicated to parents).
