Refunds and cancellation
- Application fee: non‑refundable (INR 5,000). - Admission fee: the admission fee secures the place; the published schedule explains the split for Early Years entrants (INR 50,000 initially; balance on entry to PYP1) but does not provide a broad refundable‑refund table in the public fee summary. No comprehensive multi‑line refund schedule is published in the public fee summary.
Other payment notes and administrative points
- All fees are payable to the school's bank accounts in INR; invoices will supply the account and payment instructions. Admissions
Admissions
Admissions
1. Parents complete an inquiry form with basic information about the child and family contact details, then meet the admissions officer. They are encouraged to furnish all relevant information for the application. Omission of information relevant to the student, such as special needs or medical details, may result in reconsideration or review of admission. 2. Parents are encouraged to visit the campus while the school is in session to tour the facilities and experience the atmosphere live in action, with admissions staff assisting the tour. If a parent arrives without an appointment, the tour depends on staff availability, and every effort is made to accommodate schedule constraints. 3. During the inquiry, the admissions team provides a broad overview of school activities and familiarises families with the school philosophy. Fee details are shared and a prospectus is handed over. Parents also meet the programme coordinators to understand the curriculum in detail. If the parent is interested in seeking admission, an assessment is scheduled for grade 1 and above. 4. On the day of the assessment, grade-level written assessments are conducted followed by an interview with the programme coordinator. For grades 1–8, the assessment is based on English and Math; for grades 9–10, the assessment includes English, Math, and Sciences. The assessments gauge the student's current knowledge and readiness for BIS curricula, and the results inform the admission decision. 5. The assessment papers are sent to the relevant grade coordinator for checking and feedback. The coordinator reviews the responses and provides feedback to the admissions team, which contributes to the overall evaluation used to decide admission. The process ensures a thorough and fair review. 6. Based on the assessments, student interaction, and the latest performance reports, the admissions committee makes a joint decision about admission, which is communicated to the parents. This decision considers academic readiness and alignment with BIS values, and the outcome includes any required next steps. 7. DP2 admissions: For IBDP candidates, admission to DP2 is granted on the basis of completing DP1 at the previous school with an official report from the DP Coordinator or Head of School. For non-IB candidates, admission to DP2 is based on an Eligibility assessment held at BLISS, provided the candidate has a minimum 50 percent score in Grade 11, and the candidate must produce an official report from the concerned principal. This policy ensures DP2 intake aligns with program requirements.
Admissions
1. Fill out the online admission form or visit MBIS to decide. An Admissions officer guides you through the academic and cocurricular offerings at MBIS. Submit documents: Birth certificate; Proof of nationality for the child and for the parents; Three passport-size photographs of the student; Original and photocopy of the previous school reports/transcripts; Original Transfer Certificate/School Leaving Certificate. For foreign nationals, a passport copy for both the child and parent and a valid visa for staying in India are required. Admission Criteria outline the levels: Early Years (Nursery, Jr KG, Sr KG) require an interaction with parents; Primary (Grades 1–5) assesses English and mathematics and considers performance at the last school; Lower Secondary (Grades 6–8), IGCSE (Grades 9–10), and A Levels (Grades 11–12) consider prior performance and include an interaction with the parents and child.
3. Online Admission Form and Fees: The Online Admission Form is available to complete the application.
