The British International School Moscow follows the English National Curriculum across all stages from Foundation Stage (2–5 years) through Primary (Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2) to Secondary (Key Stage 3 and 4) and on to pre‑university study. Primary includes Key Stage 1 (5–7 years) and Key Stage 2 (7–11 years). In Key Stage 3 (11–14 years), English and Russian are compulsory languages, with French, German and Spanish optional. For ages 14–16, the IGCSE programme is offered, and for 16–18, the A‑level programme. The programme is taught in English by native speakers, with English as an Additional Language support as needed. The International Programme runs for ages 2 to 18 and follows the English National Curriculum. All subjects are taught in English by teachers from the UK and Commonwealth countries. The Russian Programme runs for ages 7 to 18 and follows the Federal State Educational Standards, with English taught in depth by native speakers. The school has students of over 50 nationalities. Classes are limited to 15 students. Students are immersed in an English-speaking environment from day 1 with EAL support including tutoring and intensive mini-group lessons in grammar, phonics, reading and writing. The school is located at School №7, Moscow, 9 bld 1 Priorova Street. 2. Fill out the admission form on the BIS Moscow website. 3. Personal meeting with the Headteacher and a school tour. This allows learning about the educational process and the learning environment. 4. Trial day and assessment. A free trial day is organised; the child participates in the learning atmosphere and takes an individual test to measure the level of English and general knowledge. 5. School enrolment. The admission decision is based on the recommendations of teachers and meeting results; parents are informed of the admission. 6. Signing of a contract and payment.
