GESS, or the German European School Singapore, caters for students from 18 months to 18 years and offers a unique dual-language education in both German and English. GESS offers the International Baccalaureate curriculum from Preschool to High School and the German Curriculum from Primary School to High School. The school has a wide range of facilities, including modern science labs, marker spaces, an indoor swimming pool, and an outdoor play area for primary students. A distinctive feature of GESS is its BeyondClassrooms Programme, through which the school partners with leading global companies such as BMW, Siemens, and Bosch Rexroth. This initiative provides students with real-world exposure via internships, expert talks, and hands-on STEM experiences, effectively bridging academic learning with industry practice. Another highlight is the school’s competitive swim programme, led by professional coach Ivan Bunakov. GESS students have achieved success in numerous international competitions, with two athletes going on to participate in the Paris Olympic Games.
