Enrolment / Acceptance Fee
- Enrolment Acceptance Fee: AUD 600. This fee is payable when a place is offered and accepted and is non-refundable.
Tuition Fees (Kindergarten – Year 12)
- Tuition per semester (all year levels K–12): AUD 1,900.
- Full tuition per academic year (all year levels K–12): AUD 3,800. Due dates (2026): Semester 1 due by 10 February 2026; Semester 2 due by 3 August 2026.
Curriculum Fees (per semester and per academic year by year level)
- Kindergarten: AUD 220 per semester — AUD 440 per year.
- Year 1: AUD 220 per semester — AUD 440 per year.
- Year 2: AUD 230 per semester — AUD 460 per year.
- Year 3: AUD 230 per semester — AUD 460 per year.
- Year 4: AUD 230 per semester — AUD 460 per year.
- Year 5: AUD 240 per semester — AUD 480 per year.

- Curriculum fees include subscriptions, resource levies, co-curricular activities and IB fees. The Diploma Programme (DP) exam component of the curriculum fees includes a non-refundable DP exam charge of AUD 1,200. Additional fees will apply for IB courses delivered by external providers and for activities such as camps, interschool events, school functions and specialised trips; these are invoiced separately as required.
Family Discounts
- Families with two (2) or three (3) children enrolled receive a tuition fee discount of AUD 150 per child per semester. Any additional younger sibling(s) after the third child receive a 100% tuition fee discount.
Billing Schedule and Payment Terms
- Tuition and curriculum fees are billed at the beginning of each semester. Semester due dates (2026) are 10 February 2026 (Semester 1) and 3 August 2026 (Semester 2). Fees are due 14 days after the start of each semester. Additional fees are billed as required and must be paid by the specified due date on each invoice.
- Non-payment may result in withdrawal of enrolment, referral to a collection agency and additional costs. Families experiencing financial difficulty must contact the Finance Committee at finance@azc.nsw.edu.au at least 10 days prior to the due date.
Re-registration and School Fee Deposit
- Re-registration for the next academic year must be confirmed by 1 November. A school fee deposit of AUD 500 is payable by the end of Term 4 once re-registration is confirmed. This deposit is credited against school fees and is non-refundable if a withdrawal notice is received after 15 January following the commencement of Term 1. Failure to pay the deposit by the due date may result in withdrawal of enrolment.
Student Withdrawal and Refunds
- If a student withdraws voluntarily, the following portion of the annual tuition and curriculum fees becomes payable (no refund beyond the retained portion):
- Withdrawal before 1 April: 30% of the annual tuition and curriculum fees.
- Withdrawal before 1 July: 55% of the annual tuition and curriculum fees.
- Withdrawal before 1 October: 80% of the annual tuition and curriculum fees.
- Withdrawal on or after 1 October: 100% of the annual tuition and curriculum fees.
- If enrolment ceases for reasons other than voluntary withdrawal, tuition and curriculum fees are calculated pro rata based on the number of weeks enrolled. The enrolment acceptance fee (AUD 600) is non-refundable. The AUD 1,200 DP exam fees included in curriculum fees are non-refundable. The AUD 500 re-registration deposit is non-refundable if withdrawal notice is received after 15 January as noted above.
Late Enrolment, Surcharges and Liability
- Students enrolling during the first four weeks of the school year are billed the full school fee. Students enrolling after the first four weeks are billed proportionally for the number of full or partial weeks remaining and incur a late enrolment surcharge of 5% of the annual fees. If both parents signed the enrolment form, each parent is fully responsible for paying all school fees unless a court order specifies otherwise. Requests to vary the agreement must be made in writing and approved by the College.
Other Costs and Requirements
- Booklists for Kindergarten to Year 12 are advised by the College and billed or purchased separately. Uniforms are to be purchased from Midford School Uniforms. A library bag must be purchased at the College Administration Office. Additional charges will apply for camps, excursions, co-curricular activities, specialist trips and any externally provided IB course fees; such charges will be invoiced when required.
Boarding Fees
- Boarding facilities are not listed for Al Zahra College; boarding is not applicable. No boarding fees are charged.
Fee Payment Options
- Accepted payment methods: direct deposit (bank transfer), BPAY, cash/EFTPOS and payments via the Sentral Parents app. Specific card-payment options via Sentral or EFTPOS may be available at the College administration; check your invoice for payment instructions.
