Billing schedule and payment terms
- Billing occurs annually at the end of October for the following school year. Payments are scheduled as follows: payment in November for Terms 1 & 2, April for Term 3, and July for Term 4. Fees are payable within 14 days of issue.
- Tuition must be paid in advance either per term, per semester or for the whole year. Families who pay the full year in advance before the end of the preceding year are eligible for a 10% discount on tuition; families who pay the full year in advance before the commencement of Term 1 are eligible for a 5% discount on tuition. A 15% sibling discount on tuition applies to the second and subsequent child (Prep/KG to Year 12); fifth and subsequent children are exempted from tuition fees.
- Special payment arrangements (instalment plans) can be negotiated with the campus office but must be confirmed in writing; special arrangements require a Direct Debit Agreement and failure to meet agreed payments may incur a 5% administrative charge on the outstanding balance and cancellation of the arrangement.

Boarding
- The Strathfield campus operates as a day school; boarding facilities and boarding fees are not applicable.

Other compulsory fees and one-off charges
- Building levy: AUD 350 per family per annum (paid with the first instalment of the year).
- Library levy: AUD 100 per student per annum.
- Camp levies / year-specific activity levies: vary by year group (examples shown in the fee schedule include AUD 300 for Year 5, AUD 350 for Year 7, AUD 500 for Year 9). These camp/activity levies are included in the total annual fee for the applicable year groups.
- IB levies: Year 11 IB shows an additional AUD 400 IB-related levy included in the total for IB Diploma students; Year 12 IB totals include the applicable IB levy.
- Enrolment Guarantee Bond (EGB): a AUD 1,000 interest-free deposit is used by the Academy in some campuses and is refundable on written request when a student leaves subject to conditions; the Strathfield campus does not charge the EGB.
- Uniforms, textbooks and stationery: these are additional costs. Uniform and booklist details are provided at enrolment; amounts vary and are charged separately.

Refunds, withdrawals and short-term leave
- One full term's written notice to the Registrar is required to withdraw a student. If one full term's notice is not provided, one full term's tuition fee will be charged. Building and library levies are non-refundable. No fee exemption is granted for short-term leave; one term's fees must be paid in advance for students taking short-term leave.

Late payment and penalties
- Failure to pay fees by the due date may attract an additional administrative fee of 5% on the outstanding balance and may result in cancellation of any special payment arrangement.

Accepted payment methods
- In-person: cash, cheque (payable to Australian International Academy).
- Electronic: Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT), BPAY (use campus biller code and Academy reference number), Direct Debit (Direct Debit Authorisation available at campus office).
- Credit card: accepted for some payments; surcharge applies to credit card transactions. Exact biller codes and payment references are provided on school invoices.
