Miles Franklin Primary School is an IB World School offering the Primary Years Programme from Preschool to Year 6. The PYP is organized around six transdisciplinary units of inquiry and is mapped to Australian Curriculum, giving students coherent national framework with perspectives globally. Literacy is taught daily, and numeracy is delivered through explicit instruction and working mathematically within PYP units. French is taught by a specialist to Kindergarten to Year Six, one lesson per week. In Years 5 and 6, school bands provide performance opportunities, and two reading teachers support literacy alongside an EALD teacher for students from Kindergarten through Year Six. ICT is embedded across the curriculum with Google Apps for Education and Chromebooks; the library opens daily and Years 3–6 have daily access to technology. The campus features an extended hall, a library, and COLA, with improvements and a cross-campus pathway to Melba Copland's MYP and IB Diploma.
