Admission to our school for the first grades takes place in January; admission for all other grade levels is possible at any time when space is available; there are no admission tests.
BIPS-Krones is a bilingual primary school in Graz, Austria, serving children aged 6 to 10. English is the working language, with German-language lessons and native-speaking English teachers. Each class has a designated native English teacher for 6–7 hours a week, and geography, history and science are taught in both languages. An inclusion class is offered every year, led by primary teachers and qualified special needs teachers. The school operates at two campuses, Münzgrabenstraße (Main) and Brockmanngasse (External), with 12 classes in total and three parallel classes per year. A dedicated teaching team includes a primary teacher and a special education teacher; four integration classes have two teachers. Sport is emphasized, including regular swimming lessons through the movement of Styria and ATG Graz, plus ball games, dancing and yoga. Afternoon courses and activities include Chess, Modern Technology and MUSICAL. The curriculum aligns with Austrian guidelines and AP options for international families.
