Mayflower Christian Academy sits on a unique educational campus in Oberlaa, Vienna, at Fontanastraße 8, 1100 Vienna, on the International Campus Vienna. The campus houses Mayflower Christian Academy and the on-site Internationale Privatkindergarten Arche Noah, enabling close cooperation between the school and kindergarten and sharing the same values. The school library supports independent learning with a large collection of non-fiction, children's novels, and age-appropriate materials, and is accessible during designated library hours. The campus embraces a digital learning approach, with tablets, interactive boards, and an ICT department supported by university partnerships as part of MCA's Digital Media Concept. Open days on the campus invite families to explore the facilities and learning environment.
German is the language of instruction, with English used intensively as a second language. All teachers aim for clear use of German and English, and DaZ/DaF specialists support pupils to reach learning goals. English competence is built up rapidly through English lessons and its integration in many subjects. From the 5th school level, French is introduced as a second foreign language, and from the 7th grade French becomes a main subject with work conducted in French. Pupils with insufficient German language skills begin the year as exceptional pupils and receive intensive German language support to follow lessons as quickly as possible.
ErasmusPlus activities provide international mobility for students and staff, such as a 5-day mobility to St. Brendan's Community School in Ireland to support bilingualism and open learning environments. A planned February 2026 activity includes job shadowing by two primary school teachers at a school in Hagen, Germany. Art and Creativity encompasses painting, design, drama, dance and music, with musicals and school performances such as Mayflower musicals. The school offers service learning and other ERASMUS-related projects, and the campus fosters a vibrant school community with events like assemblies, Prayer & Parents' Café, and a daily menu.
