The Cambridge Primary Curriculum is offered in addition to the Austrian elementary curriculum, with a focus on English. This bilingual approach supports secondary school preparation in German and/or English.
Voluntary creative and language programs enrich the offer and prepare children for secondary school. These programs extend learning beyond the core curriculum and support bilingual development within Meridian's all-day learning environment. They provide opportunities for language practice, creativity, and collaboration. The programs align with Meridian's aim to foster independent, confident learners.
Meridian Bilingual Primary School Grinzing is a private, non-denominational primary school in Vienna's Grinzing district. It teaches the Austrian curriculum in German and English according to the Cambridge Primary Curriculum, integrated from day one in an all‑day program. The school serves ages 3 to 10 and emphasizes bilingual learning, with German and English languages woven into classroom activities and daily life. Meridian was the first Cambridge Primary School in Vienna and received Cambridge certification in 2023/24. A focused MINT Schwerpunkt underpins cross‑curricular mathematics, informatics, science and technology projects, preparing students for secondary school in German and/or English.
