Academic and Intellectual

The school follows the British Curriculum alongside the national education plan. It is the first internationally accredited school in Azerbaijan by the British government. Seventy percent of teaching staff are international educators, and the school partners with Cambridge, Pearson, NCUK, ISDC, ECIS, UCAS, College Board SAT, and British Council IELTS. Graduates receive British diplomas and Azerbaijani certificates and have access to over 3,000 universities worldwide.

Arts and Creative

The Secondary School offers a wide range of extra-curricular activities, including creative activities, sport, art, and drama. Most clubs are run by staff, with some activities provided in collaboration with external groups. These activities help students explore new skills and interests.

Cultural and Language

Additional foreign language options include English, French, Russian, and German. Students participate in cultural events and international opportunities such as participation in international Olympiads and competitions. The school also participates in regional cultural events such as the OIC Cultural Festival.

Sport and fitness activities are offered through the after-school program, including gymnastics and other recreational activities. The extracurricular program also includes artistic and cultural activities. The school runs summer and winter camps in America and England.

British School in Baku (BSB) offers a Cambridge-based education aligned with the Azerbaijani national plan for learners aged 1 to 18. The curriculum includes EYFS, Cambridge Primary, Cambridge IGCSE, Cambridge International AS Levels, and Pearson Edexcel IGCSE. The Primary School serves ages 4 to 11 and Secondary 11 to 18, with Foundation Stage, Cambridge Checkpoint testing, and IGCSE/AS/A‑Levels pathways. BSB is the first accredited school in Azerbaijan by COBIS and CIS. It is accredited by Cambridge and Edexcel to deliver programs from Primary through IGCSE, AS and A‑Levels. Students graduate with British diplomas and Azerbaijani certificates and gain access to universities worldwide. The campus includes redesigned classrooms, art rooms, science labs, computer labs, a library, an indoor sports hall, and a large outdoor field.
