It also promotes a social climate that models international understanding and the enjoyment of the diverse cultures represented by the school community. Collaboration between parents and the school is encouraged so that parents are actively involved in their children's education. Students have opportunities to participate in international Olympiads and competitions, and additional foreign language options include English, French, Russian, and German.
PTAs are formal bodies composed of parents, teachers, and staff intended to facilitate parental participation in a school and to encourage closer links between home and school. They are best known for fundraising work, but they also serve a social function by bringing together parents, staff, and pupils at fundraising events. Parents can contribute their ideas and efforts within PTA guidelines to assist with school functions. There are PTA pages for both Primary and Secondary to support involvement and ongoing parent engagement across the school.
