Uniform Requirement

Uniforms are compulsory for all students. Boys wear blue shorts or trousers with a white shirt and navy blue necktie, black shoes, and white socks; girls wear a blue pinafore with a white blouse, black shoes, white socks, and a white scarf. In winter, a blue pullover is worn over the shirt/blouse, and a blue muffler or blue woollen cap may be worn.

Bangladesh School Bahrain is a long-established international school located in Salihiya, Manama. It serves expatriate Bangladeshi families and offers two curricula: the National Curriculum of Bangladesh under the Dhaka Board (Grades 1–12) and the Cambridge International Curriculum (Grade 6–10 as an option, with Higher Secondary added in 2013). The school began in 1996 with six students and has grown to around 1,000 students with about 60 teachers. English is the language of instruction; Bangla is taught as a subject and is used in admission testing. The campus is on Road 5630, with the Kanoo Garden area nearby. The principal is Mr. Arun Nair, who leads a team of dedicated staff. The school offers student clubs such as Math Club, English Club and Science Club, and holds Sports Week annually. Transport is available by AC buses, with a small fleet including a school minivan.
