The Canadian School Bahrain is located at Building 4499, Road 6447, Diyar Al Muharraq, Kingdom of Bahrain. The school sits in Diyar Al Muharraq, a master-planned community in Muharraq Governorate with public parks and children's playgrounds. The campus is a modern, purpose-built facility designed to provide a full educational experience.
CSB offers a blended Arabic-English program for students from Nursery through Grade 12. It opened in 2019 for Nursery to Grade 3 and is adding 1–2 grades each year, with Grade 12 planned by AY 2026–2027.
CSB is a non-profit foreign school that offers the British Columbia, Canada curriculum blended with Arabic language studies, Islamic studies, and Bahraini social studies and citizenship classes.
The Counseling Department provides individualized counseling for personal, emotional, and social development and runs workshops to support essential life and study skills. A health clinic operates on campus with a health care team, and there is a Health and Safety Committee overseeing well-being and safety.
CSB follows the British Columbia (Canada) curriculum and is accredited by the BC Ministry of Education, making it the first certified BC Curriculum School in Bahrain.
CSB has no formal religious affiliation; Islamic studies are part of the curriculum alongside Arabic language studies.
Class times (Sunday to Wednesday) are: Nursery–KG1 7:40–12:45, KG2 7:40–13:00, Grades 1–4 7:30–14:00, Grades 5–9 7:30–14:15, Grades 10–12 7:30–14:30. On Thursdays: Preschool 7:40–11:30, Grades 1–4 7:40–12:00, Grades 5–12 7:40–12:10.
CSB does not operate its own bus service; transportation is arranged through a subcontracted transportation company.

Application and registration fees
- Application (admission form) fee: a one-time non-refundable fee of BHD 100, payable when collecting the admission form.
- Registration fee: a one-time fee of BHD 250 payable to finalise enrollment for new students; parents are required to pay this alongside the 1st instalment and any other fees listed on the application.
Billing schedule and payment terms
- Instalment timing: the fee schedule is split into three instalments shown as 1st instalment (February), 2nd instalment (October) and 3rd instalment (December). Parents are requested to pay the 1st instalment and registration fee to complete enrolment.
- What tuition excludes: tuition fees do not include Books, Uniforms, After‑School Activities, Food services, transportation, and School Activities & Trips; for Grade 7 onwards, trip fees are charged per trip. Sibling discounts apply to tuition only.
Boarding fees
- Not applicable — Canadian School Bahrain does not offer boarding facilities and therefore no boarding fees apply. (The school operates as a day school; transportation is handled via an external subcontractor.)
Other costs and additional fees
- Books and learning resources: charged separately (learning resources / British Columbia-related fees are treated as other fees and are non-refundable).
- Uniform: uniforms are charged separately; a uniform list is published for required items. Uniform costs are not included in the tuition amounts.
- After‑school activities, food services and transportation: charged separately and are excluded from the tuition figures. Transportation is provided through a subcontracted company and billed separately. Field trips (especially from Grade 7 up) are billed per trip.
- Sibling discount: applied to tuition only — second child 5%, third child onwards 10%.
Refund information
- Withdrawal refunds: if a student withdraws before September 1, parents are eligible for a refund equal to 50% of the first instalment of the tuition fee; withdrawals on or after September 1 receive no refund. Application and registration fees and certain other fees (learning resources and British Columbia fees) are non‑refundable. Students suspended, expelled, or withdrawn by the school for breaching terms are not entitled to refunds. Official withdrawal/transfer letters are issued only after all dues are settled and school resources returned.
Fee payment options
- Bank Transfer / Direct Deposit / Benefit Pay: transfer fees directly to the school's bank account (details provided by the school's Accounts/Admissions office).
- Credit/Debit Card: payments accepted in person at the Accounts Department during school working hours.
Important notes
- The school requests the 1st instalment and the one‑time registration fee to confirm a student's place. Installment months and amounts above are the official fee schedule.
CSB represents students from multiple nationalities; public sources indicate more than 20 nationalities are represented, with no single dominant nationality or published local/international ratio.
