Let the school know you're thinking of applying — they can share their prerequisites and help you through the process.
It's best to ask — circumstances can change at any time.
Established in 1976 in Muharraq, Bahrain. It is the only establishment in Bahrain accredited by the French Ministry of National Education to teach from kindergarten through terminale. Since 2009, the school has been part of the Mission Laïque Française network. It participates in the MLF global network, comprising around 108 establishments worldwide, and maintains a multilingual program from kindergarten (French, English, and Arabic).
LFIB maintains an active, multilingual community, with staff and families engaging in three languages (French, English, Arabic) in communications. The school communicates with parents and families through a multilingual framework and supports strong collaboration among parents, teachers, and the administration. It coordinates events and activities that foster community life, including International Children's Day and other curriculum-linked activities referenced in school updates.
The Parents' Committee (Comité de Parents) is formed by LFIB parents volunteering to support school life. Any parent can join, and a September meeting identifies volunteers and elects an administrative bureau (communications lead, treasurer, secretary) to steer activities. The Committee aims to strengthen communication between parents, teachers, and the administration, and to assist with the integration of new families and administrative matters. It organizes events such as the annual kermesse, end-of-year celebrations, and Environment Week, coordinating with the school on social, sports, and cultural activities. Funds raised—primarily through snack and book sales and the big annual fair—support cultural projects and student activities; contact is cpebah@gmail.com.
