Nadeen School was established in Bahrain in 1978 as a small, community‑oriented school with about 29 students and four teachers. It moved to Umm Al Hassam in 1980 after its early years in Gufool. In 1988 it relocated to its current campus, expanding to serve more learners and families. In 2023 the school relocated to a new, purpose‑built Dilmunia campus, reflecting continued growth and modernization under a family‑ and community‑centered ethos. The school holds British accreditations and partnerships, including BSO by Penta International, Bahrain Quality Assurance, and COBIS accreditation, confirming high standards of education.
Nadeen School describes itself as a community of belonging in Bahrain, based on the National Curriculum for England. The Back-to-School 2025 event welcomed 950 learners and families, and Mandarin was introduced to the Secondary curriculum with the involvement of guests such as the Ambassador of China. External partners and staff contribute to the school's learning culture, supporting a global outlook and community connections. The 2023 relocation to the Dilmunia campus supported ongoing growth and community development.
Friends of Nadeen is a parent‑led initiative created in collaboration with the school to foster belonging and involvement. It welcomes all parents and offers flexible roles to contribute to school events, community projects, and learner experiences. Meetings are typically held weekly or biweekly to plan activities and coordinate volunteers. Members help organise events that celebrate the Nadeen Way, extend learning beyond the classroom, and strengthen home–school partnerships. To get involved, parents can email h.elson@nadeenschool.com, and the group operates under the Grow Together, Thrive As One ethos.
