New Millennium School Bahrain was founded in 2004. It was established under the Knowledge Management Group led by Padma Shri Dr. Ravi Pillai and Geetha Pillai, with Dr Arun Kumar Sharma serving as principal. It has CBSE affiliation number 5230006 and operates within Bahrain's CBSE framework; it was historically tied to the Delhi Public School Society's network in Bahrain. The school began in Bahrain as NMS-DPS Bahrain under the Delhi Public School Society. Today the school serves more than 2,000 students and draws representation from 50+ regions.
New Millennium School Bahrain runs a vibrant school community with a strong emphasis on student-led conferences and global competition. The school hosts the New Millennium Model United Nations (NMMUN) conference, bringing together delegates from Bahraini schools to discuss international issues. NMMUN 2024 drew more than 450 attendees from seven Bahraini schools.
