Leadership and Professional

Careers Day is held as part of the events at PKUS Bahrain to expose students to different professions and career paths. School counselors play a central role in supporting students' academic, social and personal development and act as a liaison between students and families to address issues. The school also has a Parents Council, reflecting parental involvement in school leadership and governance as part of the broader community engagement.

Lifestyle and Wellbeing

The school provides Sports & Games Facilities that cover basketball, volleyball, football, badminton and cricket, with students divided into four houses (Emerald, Sapphire, Ruby, Topaz) and regular annual sports, inter-house and inter-school competitions. Health care and first aid are available on site with a nurse during school hours and arrangements for hospital treatment when needed. A prayer room with updated ablution facilities supports religious practice, and the library and multimedia resources support quiet study and personal development.

Pakistan Urdu School Bahrain offers a distinct educational environment that bridges cultural heritage with modern academic standards. Founded in 1956, it is the first school established for the community in the Gulf, currently serving students from kindergarten through Grade 12. The school primarily follows the Federal Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (FBISE) curriculum, ensuring students are well-prepared for Pakistani national examinations, and is expanding its academic portfolio by introducing the Cambridge IGCSE curriculum in September 2025.
