Parent Experience

Community, involvement and what it's like to be a parent at this school

History

Quest School Bahrain was founded in 2020 as a private international school on Janabiyah Highway, Bahrain. The school is governed by a private Board of Directors, with Akram Rashad Miknas as Chairman and Grant Jefferson as Vice Chairman, guiding strategic development. It pursued a British Cambridge International Curriculum from its early years and achieved Cambridge accreditation in 2025, strengthening its international curriculum credentials. The campus sits on a 30,000 square metre site on Janabiyah Highway, with an initial phase including dedicated wings for Kindergarten and Primary, and plans for future facilities such as an indoor swimming pool, indoor gym, and additional amenities.

Community

Quest School Bahrain emphasizes a safe, inclusive learning environment and aims to build citizens who contribute positively to Bahrain and beyond. The school engages families and the wider community through events such as Shoe Box Appeal, Autism Awareness Day, and Think Pink. A Student Council meets regularly to represent learner ideas and helps plan school events. The Quest community also undertakes welfare and charitable initiatives, including Smile for cancer support, migrant workers' rights projects, and BSPCA partnerships.

Parent-Teacher Association

Quest School Bahrain's Parent Teacher Association links families with the senior management team and provides a voice for the school community. The PTA is positioned as a channel for parental involvement and partnership in school improvement initiatives. Parents are encouraged to volunteer and engage with the school through PTA activities, supported by an open-door policy from the leadership. The PTA collaborates with the school on events and activities that reflect the community's values and priorities. PTA-led or PTA-supported activities appear in the school calendar and community programming, including Think Pink, Autism Awareness Day, and other charitable activities.
