1. Application: An admission application form is available online and at the Admission Office. A completed online or hard-copy application must be submitted to the Admission Office with a non-refundable fee. The school is an IB PYP and IBDP authorized institution and students are enrolled as day scholars. 2. Entrance Test/Assessment: There is no entrance test for Playgroup and Nursery. Entrance tests from Grade 1 onwards are conducted and checked by the respective homeroom teachers, and the child is assessed to evaluate academic skill level and the likelihood of social and behavioral integration. 3. Admission Discussion and interaction with parents: The school may conduct an interview or interaction with the parents or guardians to understand expectations and goals, with the final decision made by the Head of School or the Academic Head. 4. Selection Process and Acceptance: The selection is based on eligibility criteria and assessment criteria. After selection, an acceptance letter is issued and the admission fee along with other fees must be paid within the specified timeline to secure the place. 5. Orientation and Induction: An orientation and induction program is provided for parents and students to familiarize them with the IB PYP program and school policies and procedures. 6. Additional documents: Applications require four passport-sized photos, birth certificate or passport copy, transfer certificate, latest report card (if applicable), and custody papers if applicable; expatriate students must provide a valid student visa, passport copy, and residential permit; NRB students must provide a passport copy; students with Special Needs must provide a Special Needs assessment certificate or related report, plus a report from the previous school's Special Needs Counselor; international students require the listed documents plus passport and visa copies. 7. Admissions Statement: The school values the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme and its curriculum, which is inclusive and available to all students. 8. Admissions Requirements: Admission is competitive; most courses rely on performance in the IB Diploma Programme entrance test. IB students applying to AKMIS are considered based on predicted grades, merit, course vacancies, and/or pre-admission tests, with predicted grades and transcripts required. 9. Admission procedure in IBDP: For joining the IBDP, AKMIS accepts internal and external non-IB students who have completed MSP and IGCSE, and may require aptitude tests in Mathematics, English, and Science; DP entry requires satisfactory grades and English plus a second language, with potential additional tests for certain subjects. 10. Admission procedure: Prospective students should submit a completed application, a short motivation letter in English, and a school transcript; the school will schedule an on-campus or Skype/Meet interview; a final decision is communicated within one week, followed by written acceptance and an educational contract. 11.
