ASIS began in 2011. ASIS is a wholly owned subsidiary of American Education Group Limited, which licenses partnerships with U.S. universities, accreditation bodies, and training institutes. The curriculum is based on the State of Ohio standards under the U.S. Department of Education, and is transferable to schools in the U.S., Canada, or elsewhere. ASIS offers Cambridge and Edexcel programs in addition to its U.S. curriculum. ASIS operates from Plot 20B, Road 79/82, Gulshan-2 Diplomatic Zone, Dhaka-1212, and offers an ESL program as well as a proprietary STEAM-focused Comprehensive Program including robotics, coding, AI training, drone flying, cinematics, and A/V editing.
ASIS believes every child is unique and has potential. ASIS aims to discover each child's strengths, develop them into lifelong skills, and foster a nurturing, collaborative environment between parents and teachers. Families are encouraged to work with ASIS to support students. ASIS invites families to visit the campus and meet the teaching staff to learn more about the school.
American Standard International School was founded with a vision to provide students in Dhaka access to an American education under an American principal. The school offers both American and British curricula including Cambridge O and A Levels alongside STEAM programmes in robotics, coding, and AI.
