English is the medium of instruction. A second language is essential; Bengali is compulsory for all Bangladeshi students, French is compulsory from class two, and Mandarin Chinese is offered as an optional second language. French is taught by experienced teachers trained by Alliance Française, and Chinese is taught by a native Chinese teacher. If a student chooses to do IGCSE in Chinese, BIT offers a 100% scholarship for their A-Levels.
Bangladesh International Tutorial operates from a substantial 16-bigha campus in Uttara, Dhaka, offering education from play group through Grade XII. The school provides IGCSE and national curriculum programmes alongside Chinese and French language options.
