Chittagong Grammar School (CGS) was founded in 1992 and follows a British curriculum. The Upper School campus on Sarson Road serves students in the secondary and sixth form years and teaches in English. Students study a broad range of subjects including English Language, English Literature, Mathematics, Sciences, Global Perspectives, Bangladesh Studies, and Information Technology. The school provides specialist facilities including Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and Information Technology laboratories, as well as library resources. CGS is a recognised centre for Cambridge examinations and also hosts SAT, IELTS, and other international assessments. Students participate in activities such as Model United Nations, debating, Duke of Edinburgh's Award, Round Square programmes, and community service initiatives. A distinctive feature of CGS is its long-standing involvement with Round Square and the Duke of Edinburgh's Award, giving students opportunities to engage in international conferences, leadership activities, and service projects alongside their academic studies.
