The Montessori Kids Lasne school follows the Montessori pedagogy with a prepared environment that supports concentration, self-construction and respect for others. The Montessori Kids environment supports autonomy, self‑confidence, and concentration from 18 months onward. The 18 months to 3 years class offers group activities such as dance, singing, and reading to foster social interaction and community life. The atmosphere provides academic well‑being through purposeful activities, social well‑being through exchanges and cooperation, and psychological well‑being through an environment tailored to each child's needs. Across the four age groups, cooperation replaces competition, with older children sharing knowledge with younger peers.
Montessori Kids operates in a bilingual context with two partner delegates in each class, one French and one English. The delegates assist teachers during events and listen to parents about school or educational issues. They organize delegate/parent meetings and communicate with the school leadership. Rhythmic education classes are given in French, indicating a French‑language component in the curriculum.
The classroom approach emphasizes a serene educational atmosphere and cooperation rather than competition. Older children share knowledge with younger peers, building social connectedness and a sense of belonging. The 18 months to 3 years class supports psychological well‑being through an atmosphere tailored to each child's needs.
1. Registration is accepted depending on availability at the start of the school year or during the school year. Provide as much information as possible so Montessori Kids can contact you and consider your registration. Availability governs admission decisions.
2. The registration procedure takes place in three stages. Stage 1: complete a registration application and pay €500 non-refundable registration fee. Stage 2: where possible, a meeting with the child is scheduled to help prepare their integration into the group. Stage 3: if the application is accepted, the school sends a schooling contract that the family must sign; a copy is given to the parents.
3. On the child's first day, the family must submit documents to the administration: medical file, school excursion authorization, authorization to photograph your child, and authorization to edit the parents' address. The registration becomes effective after reading and acceptance of internal regulations and submission of the completed registration form. If schooling is paid by the employer, tuition is due in full on 15 June preceding the start of the school year; otherwise, tuition can be paid monthly in ten installments from September to June by direct debit or standing order.
4. Montessori Kids offers different school programs; two types of rates: personal rates paid by the parents and business rates paid by the employer. A 15% reduction applies to the second child enrolled in the same family. Tuition includes school supplies and, depending on the chosen days, music, psychomotor skills, swimming, sports and theater lessons; excursions are included except for the weeks of green class or sea. Rates and programs are subject to annual revision. Prices by age group exist with program codes and amounts (e.g., 18 months to 3 years A3 7,910€; 3 to 6 years A 9,040€; 6 to 9 years E 11,075€; 9 to 12 years F 11,075€).
