Clubs, activities, and opportunities to explore interests and passions

Academic and Intellectual

The Innovation Centre opened in 2020 and houses five science labs, two computer science and robotics labs, a creation and innovation space, a digital media studio, a library and a leadership room. STEAM Week, held annually, brings together Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics through real‑world challenges such as an archaeological dig, PADI scuba diving, flight in a small aircraft, stage production and farming innovations. STEAM education is embedded in both Primary and Secondary, with Year 3 boat building, Year 6 balloon rockets and cross‑departmental projects such as Year 4 partnering with Year 9 on parachute‑drop experiments. The Arts intersect with STEAM, with drama and business studies projects that apply design, technology and creativity.

Arts and Creative

The Creative Arts Department encompasses Drama, Music and Visual Art Subjects. The Alvin Ferreira Family Theatre opened in 2020 as a black box theatre for student performances and parent presentations. The Arts Wing was completely renovated in 2020 and comprises three large Fine Arts Studios (including the Sarah & Stephen Young Visual Arts Studio) with Digital Arts, Ceramics and an Art Gallery. The Instrumental Music Programme offers piano, guitar, percussion, woodwind, brass and string instruments, with lunchtime piano lessons and group guitar lessons via the Bermuda School of Music.
