The campus is located in the heart of Hamilton, Bermuda, with the original building housing the main Reception area and classrooms. A 14,000 sq ft Innovation Centre opened in 2020, featuring five science labs, two computer science and robotics labs, a creation and innovation space, a digital media studio, a library and a leadership room. The Innovation Centre centers on the Buchanan Learning Commons, surrounded by glass-fronted classrooms that encourage collaboration and provide writable spaces for students. The Arts facilities include the Alvin Ferreira Family Theatre (a black box theatre converted from the former Little Gym), the Music Suites with 11 practice rooms and a recording studio, and the Joy Bluck Arts Wing with three Fine Arts Studios, an Art Gallery and dedicated spaces for digital arts and ceramics. There is a playground on campus for student life.
BHS offers over a dozen sports for Primary and Secondary students. The sports programme emphasises personal improvement, teamwork and life skills through Positive Coaching and Mastery of ELM. Students participate in Inter-House events and Sports Days, and all teams compete in Inter-School events organised by the Bermuda School Sports Federation. A wide range of extra-curricular sports are offered, including Cross-fit, Archery, Gig Rowing, Cricket, Swimming, Netball, Basketball, Hockey, Football, Tag Rugby, Pickleball, Softball, Sailing, Yoga, Ultimate Frisbee and Scuba Diving.

Bermuda High School for Girls is the island's leading independent girls' school, founded in 1894 with over 130 years of history. The school is the only provider of A Levels in Bermuda and is a Round Square member — the only one in Bermuda.
