Uniforms are required. BIS uniforms can be purchased at Sasse Uniformes. Uniforms are required during the academic day, with exceptions for Spirit Weeks, Field Days, or announced specials. Skirts are permitted only for elementary students. Shoes must be enclosed-toe.
Escola Gourmet runs the school cafeteria (since July 2025). Students can eat school lunches with a meal plan or bring their own lunch. Microwaves are available for heating, and weekly menus are available via the Escola Gourmet app.

Brasilia International School (BIS) is an international Christian school founded in 1998 to serve international community. It offers a North American education delivered in English, blending the American Educators Reach Out standards with Biblical worldview integration. The elementary program (Pre-K to Grade 6) provides English Language Arts, Math, Science, Social Studies, Bible, Music, Physical Education, and Art, emphasizing group learning, STEM projects, and Kingdom Seekers social-emotional learning. In secondary Grades 7–12, BIS emphasizes individualized guidance, course selection, and college preparation, with access to online NorthStar Academy courses that include AP and Dual Enrollment, enabling students to earn college credit while still in high school and graduate with an American diploma.
