North American education in English with a Biblical worldview integrated into the curriculum. Weekly chapel sessions accompany learning. Graduates receive an American diploma. For the upper grades, 9–12 students may enroll in additional courses through NorthStar Academy, which offers nearly 200 courses including AP and Dual Enrollment, allowing college credit while still in high school.
Brasilia International School (BIS) is an international Christian school founded in 1998 to serve international community. It offers a North American education delivered in English, blending the American Educators Reach Out standards with Biblical worldview integration. The elementary program (Pre-K to Grade 6) provides English Language Arts, Math, Science, Social Studies, Bible, Music, Physical Education, and Art, emphasizing group learning, STEM projects, and Kingdom Seekers social-emotional learning. In secondary Grades 7–12, BIS emphasizes individualized guidance, course selection, and college preparation, with access to online NorthStar Academy courses that include AP and Dual Enrollment, enabling students to earn college credit while still in high school and graduate with an American diploma. The school is non-denominational and a member of the Network of International Christian Schools (NICS).
