Language Provision

Language learning opportunities and multilingual education

Language Provision

English and Spanish are taught as languages. English is taught bilingually through the 3rd year of Elementary, after which students continue language studies in a program with expanded hours. Spanish is taught as part of the language program, with periodic proficiency exams for English and Spanish. The school has two media centers with more than 11,000 titles in Portuguese, English, and Spanish.

Bilingual Teaching

Enrollment starts at age 3 in our Early Childhood Education, guaranteeing a bilingual experience in the early years. The school divides the academic journey into three cycles: Cycle 1 (Early Childhood to the 3rd year of Elementary), Cycle 2 (4th to 7th year), Cycle 3 (8th year to the 3rd year of High School). The English bilingual program runs through the 3rd year of Elementary, and from this stage students have the competencies to continue studying the language in a structure with expanded class time. The school emphasizes ongoing teacher development and collaborative work across disciplines to support language learning.
