The Lycée Pasteur de São Paulo is a Brazilian private school conventioned with the AEFE since 1985. The AEFE convention and oversight place the school within the network of French education abroad, and the French Ministry of National Education homologation was renewed in 2020. The school is part of the Fondation Pasteur and is under the supervision of the Secretaria da Educação of the State of São Paulo, with the Regimento Escolar published annually. The institution operates on two campuses, Vergueiro for primary and Mairinque for secondary, and offers two tracks: the general French curriculum and a Brazilian international section, with the Grand Lycée Pasteur project aiming to reach about 2,500 students by 2035.
The School Life unit supports life across both campuses with two teams: two CPEs and a team of 16 AEDs. It organizes student life through the Conseil pour la Vie Collégienne, the Conseil pour la Vie Lycéenne, and the Inter-CVL, with participation from the Primary Student Council. Families participate through the Parents Association (Association des Parents) and may be represented on the Establishment Council and the various school councils. Parent involvement is encouraged to support school life and governance and to facilitate communication between families and the school. Humanitarian and life-skills initiatives, such as the Donne la main project, are part of the school's community activities and orientation efforts.
The Parents Association (Association des Parents) participates in governance and school life, directly or through elected parent representatives on the Establishment Council and the School and High School Councils. Parent involvement can be direct or via the Association des Parents and through parent representatives who sit on the governing bodies. The Association collaborates with the Inter-CVL to support life and activities across two sites and to contribute to orientation actions. It supports and coordinates family engagement with life at the school and AEFE network activities. Humanitarian and orientation initiatives are among the activities supported in cooperation with the school and families.
