The Lycée Molière is a French international school abroad, founded in 1982, and part of the AEFE network. It is administered by SFBE (Sociedade Francesa e Brasileira de Ensino), a Brazilian non‑profit association. As a multilingual school in Rio de Janeiro, it sits at the crossroads of two languages, two cultures and two worlds: France and Brazil, with English, Spanish and German also taught. The school is located in the Laranjeiras district and welcomes about 880 students from the youngest kindergarten through Terminale. Instruction takes place across two sites: the main site on Rua Pereira da Silva hosts students up to collège, while a newer building on Rua Conde de Baependi in Flamengo houses the lycéens. The facilities include libraries for different levels, a theatre, modern science laboratories, a music and arts room, a pedagogical garden, a covered sports court, substantial IT equipment, and an on‑site restaurant run by a French chef.
A covered sports court is available for indoor physical activities. This space supports physical education and indoor sports.
