Admissions

How to apply, waitlist information, and financial support

Admissions Process

1. Step 1 – Application window and initial registration. Admissions open from June to August, unless the level is full. Because enrolment is in great demand, parents are strongly advised to register early. The application form can be obtained from the main office.

2. Step 2 – Submit the application with documents. The form is submitted to the Main Office together with a copy of the child's birth certificate, a copy of the child's IC (if applicable), and a copy of the child's most recent school results. The application form can be obtained from the main office. These documents are required to complete the application and move forward in the process.

3. Step 3 – Admission testing and interviews. The school administers tests in English, Bahasa Melayu, Science, and Mathematics to assess academic abilities. Results of these tests for successful applicants are usually communicated before the end of the year. In addition to the tests, parents and students are interviewed by the Heads of Sections/Heads of Departments.

4. Step 4 – Foreign student passes. The Ministry of Education requires all foreign students to have valid student passes before they are officially registered with the school. Parents should therefore obtain these passes from the Ministry of Education and Immigration Department.

5. Step 5 – New admission charges and fee structure. For new admissions, a deposit of B$250 is required, along with one month's advance fee and an admission fee of B$50 (non-refundable). An annual surcharge of B$10 applies before entering Year 1–11, and a miscellaneous fee of B$130 applies to kindergarten students. Fees are subject to revision.

6. Step 6 – Fees payment and year-end requirements. Parents should settle the school fees during the first five working days of each month. All school fees must be settled by the end of the school year. If any fees remain outstanding, the school is permitted to remove the student's name from the Register for the next year, and leaving certificates will not be issued until all outstanding fees are cleared.
