The Center of Knowledge and Culture, known as the 3C, is an educational project and space that brings together people and documents for learning and mediation. It combines encyclopedias, a CD-ROM collection, databases, and the CCC as learning spaces in which information and knowledge are explored. The Internet is viewed as a hyperspace that enables encounter and exploration, while the 3C emphasizes language mastery as support for other learning. It also helps to decloisonner spaces and give students more autonomy, allowing teachers to tailor student support and develop new teaching practices.
The school runs a broad program of after-school clubs for nursery through primary and through collège, with activities starting after class at 15:30 and on Wednesdays from 13:00. Activities are artistic, educational, and athletic, and include sessions to help with homework by level. Examples of clubs include pottery, French music, mini-painting, storytime, and mini-tennis, among others.
Clubs for language and culture are offered from kindergarten through collège, with some activities conducted in Bulgarian and English and some in French. Several clubs are bilingual or multilingual (BG/ENG or FR). The school also hosts a multilingual web radio that features programming in multiple languages, including English, Bulgarian, and French, with broadcasts spanning from elementary to lycée.
After-school clubs cover social and hobby interests beyond academics, including theatre games, dance, music, sport, and board games. The Primaire et collège clubs include Ciné-club (films), Jeux de théâtre (theatre games), and a variety of arts and sports programs.
The Caisse de solidarité provides financial assistance to families in difficulty, funded by voluntary donations and school fundraising, to help with tuition, meals, exam fees, travel, and school supplies. The fund is managed by representatives of the board and the school and reviews dossiers in January. AEFE scholarships are available to eligible French families in Bulgaria, with the consular council meeting twice a year to consider applications, and online submission via SCOLAIDE. The daycare and leisure centers offer after-school care and activities for younger students.
Stage professionnel des 3èmes gives students in 3e a week of job discovery, allowing them to observe professional life, interact with professionals, and build autonomy. Students document and present their experiences, gaining clarity on their orientation and future work. The school also maintains active student leadership structures, including the Conseil de la Vie Lycéenne (CVL) for lycée students and, at the collège level, the Conseils des Délégués pour la Vie Collégienne (CVC), which provide spaces for student voices and project development.
The medical service at LVH includes a school doctor, a school nurse, and two psychologists to support health, well-being, and learning, with confidential handling of medical information and regular health screenings for certain grade levels. The school's sports program, L'Association Sportive du LVH (AS LVH), offers activities such as volleyball, futsal, basketball, and dance after school and on a Wednesday schedule. Garderie and leisure centers provide after-school care from 15:45 to 17:45, with a separate, paid arrangement for younger children and a separate option for TPS; homework help is available in some cases. The medical service, sports activities, and after-school care collectively support student well-being and daily-life needs.
