The Victor Hugo School in Sofia welcomes more than 800 pupils from nursery to the final year and is approved by the French Ministry of Education as part of the AEFE network, under supervision of the Embassy of France in Sofia. The SA LVH offers activities including badminton at the school gymnasium. Escalade takes place at NSA. Basketball and tennis are offered (basketball at the school gymnasium; tennis at NSA). Participation requires a parental authorization and a yearly subscription of 100 leva; transportation is not included.

Language instruction includes a pilot language program integrating French as the host-country language for all students and encouraging English and other international languages.
