Academic and Intellectual

The school teaches a bilingual curriculum based on the English National Curriculum integrated with the Cambodian Curriculum. From Year 10, students study for Cambridge IGCSE, an internationally recognized qualification. English and Khmer literacy and numeracy support all learning. Classrooms are equipped with Chromebooks and tablets to support digital learning.

Arts and Creative

Art, music, and dance are offered as after-school activities. The school has a dedicated dance room and an auditorium for performances. AHIS stages school productions, such as The Shepherd King.

Cultural and Language

Classes are taught in English and Khmer. The bilingual curriculum integrates the English National Curriculum with the Cambodian Curriculum. Khmer and English literacy and numeracy support all learning.

Social and Hobbies

AHIS offers a range of after-school activities to enhance the student experience. Activities include art, music, technology, dance, sports and science. These programs provide opportunities for students to pursue personal interests and socialize with peers.

Lifestyle and Wellbeing

Facilities support physical well-being with a 25-meter swimming pool, a soccer field, a volleyball court, a covered gym and a dance room. An auditorium hosts performances and events that build community and confidence. The campus includes two libraries and a primary STEAM room to support study, creativity and collaboration.

Asian Hope International School (AHIS) is a bilingual Christian day school in Phnom Penh serving Preschool (Early Years) through Year 12. The school opened in January 2010 and describes its curriculum as an integration of the English National Curriculum with the Cambodian national curriculum. From Year 10 students follow Cambridge IGCSE courses and Years 6, 9 and 12 sit national examinations. The school has campus facilities that support academic and creative programmes, including two libraries, a Primary STEAM room, a Secondary maker-space and science labs, an auditorium and a 25m swimming pool. AHIS also notes full PK–12 WASC (ACS WASC) accreditation. For international families, the school highlights bilingual (English/Khmer) teaching, preparation for both Cambodian national exams and Cambridge IGCS.
