Facilities Overview

AHIS is set on a beautiful campus with facilities to support the education of children from Early Years to Year 12. Across EY/Primary and Secondary buildings there are light-filled, spacious classrooms, two libraries, a Secondary Maker-space and science labs, a Primary STEAM room, a dance room, an auditorium, a coffee shop, a soccer field, a volleyball court, a playground, a covered gym, and a 25-meter swimming pool. The facilities are continually developed each year.

Sports Facilities

The campus includes a soccer field and a volleyball court for outdoor sports. There is a 25-meter swimming pool and a covered gym for indoor activities. The athletic spaces support a broad physical education program.

Academic Facilities

Across EY/Primary and Secondary buildings there are light-filled, spacious classrooms. There are two libraries, a Secondary Maker-space and science labs, and a Primary STEAM room. The dance room and auditorium support academic and co-curricular activities. The school uses a bilingual approach with English and Khmer, with half the day taught in English and the other half in Khmer.

Extra-Curricular Activities

AHIS participates in football competitions, including a 1st place finish in ISSAPP Girls Primary football. The school also hosts productions such as 'The Shepherd King'.

Asian Hope International School (AHIS) is a bilingual Christian day school in Phnom Penh serving Preschool (Early Years) through Year 12. The school opened in January 2010 and describes its curriculum as an integration of the English National Curriculum with the Cambodian national curriculum. From Year 10 students follow Cambridge IGCSE courses and Years 6, 9 and 12 sit national examinations. The school has campus facilities that support academic and creative programmes, including two libraries, a Primary STEAM room, a Secondary maker-space and science labs, an auditorium and a 25m swimming pool. AHIS also notes full PK–12 WASC (ACS WASC) accreditation. For international families, the school highlights bilingual (English/Khmer) teaching, preparation for both Cambodian national exams and Cambridge IGCS.
