The school uses a STEEAM curriculum (Science, Technology, Entrepreneurship, Engineering, Arts, and Math) and centers on project-based, experiential learning to develop academic and life skills. It emphasizes hands-on projects and real-world applications to foster critical thinking, problem-solving, and collaboration. The program blends traditional coursework with experiential learning to prepare students for future study and leadership roles.
The school is an English immersion program, with Khmer Language Arts taught four hours per week. All courses are delivered in English, with Khmer language instruction included as part of the core curriculum.
Leadership development and entrepreneurship are central to the curriculum, delivered through project-based learning that builds leadership and soft skills such as communication and teamwork. The residential program and experiential learning components support practical skills for higher education and future careers.
Residential life is integrated with academics and is available in three options: Full-time Boarder, Weekly Boarder, and Late Stay. The on-campus program runs for approximately 36 weeks per year, and arrangements are discussed during interviews; the campus opened in August 2025.
Liger Leadership Academy is a residential secondary school on a five acre campus about twelve kilometres east of central Phnom Penh. The academy uses a school developed STEEAM curriculum delivered through core classes in English, Khmer literacy, mathematics and science, nine week project based Explorations, and advanced options including Advanced Placement coursework and international standardized tests. Students live on campus: junior dormitories house students aged eleven to fourteen in three bedroom dorms with a maximum of fifteen per dorm, and senior apartments accommodate students aged fifteen to eighteen in self contained units. Instruction is English immersion and Khmer language arts is taught four hours per week. The Liger diploma is recognised by Cambodia's Ministry of Education, Youth and Sport. Campus facilities include Innovation Center, science laboratories, study halls, dining assembly spaces, a clinic, sports courts, a swimming pool and a football field. The school provides transport to and from campus.
