Below are the accreditations, authorisations and programme affiliations shown on New Gateway International School's own website (each line cites the page where the school itself states the item):
- Ministry of Education, Youth and Sport (MoEYS) — officially licensed by Cambodia's MoEYS. This is the government authorisation that allows NGIS to deliver the Cambodian national curriculum and register students for the national examinations (grades 6, 9 and 12).
- Oxford / Oxford AQA affiliation — the school states it is the first “Oxford School in Cambodia” and that it offers the Oxford curriculum from Early Years through A Level (an affiliation the website describes as providing Oxford qualifications). This indicates the school delivers Oxford/AQA curriculum materials and qualifications as described on its site.
- Cambridge (UK Cambridge curriculum and Cambridge English assessments) — the site says NGIS delivers the UK Cambridge curriculum in Primary and Secondary and that students sit Cambridge English assessments (mapped to the CEFR). The school describes students graduating with UK Cambridge qualifications. (The website presents this as the school's curriculum and assessment programmes.)
- IELTS (training and testing) — the school states it provides IELTS training and testing as part of its academic programme. On the school site this is described as an offering to prepare students for that internationally recognised English test.
- IEYC (International Early Years Curriculum) — the site states NGIS delivers the IEYC program in Early Years (an international early-years curriculum the school lists as part of its offerings).
- Chinese language programmes (authorisation stated by the school) — the About page states NGIS runs Chinese language programmes “authorized by the Chinese Republic.” The site presents this as an authorised element of the school's tri-lingual programme.
Note: I have listed the items exactly as the school presents them on its website (government licence, programme affiliations and test delivery). The site explicitly uses the term “licensed” only for the Cambodian Ministry of Education accreditation; other items are described on the website as affiliations, curriculum delivery or authorised programmes (as quoted above).
New Gateway International School (NGIS) was founded in 2011 and is presented on the school site as a tri-lingual institution teaching Khmer, English and Chinese. NGIS delivers the Cambodian (Khmer) curriculum alongside UK Cambridge programmes in Primary and Secondary and an IEYC programme for Early Years; graduates receive Cambodian high-school certification and Cambridge qualifications. The school lists multiple Phnom Penh campuses: a head office/campus near the National Olympic Stadium (Veal Vong) and at least one campus closer to the airport (Sen Sok). Facilities noted on the site include a research laboratory, a computer laboratory, a library, and extracurricular provision such as arts, music and a sport club (swimming, soccer and related activities). The site also describes regular teacher–parent conferences and semester academic reports for parents.
