SCIA's Co-Curricular Activities (CCAs) promote holistic development and are incorporated into the timetable from Grade 1, helping students build leadership, self-discipline, sportsmanship and teamwork. The range includes sports, clubs and societies, and cultural activities such as Basketball, Futsal, Multi-Sports, Board Games, Khmer Culture Club, and Chinese Culture Club. Primary students participate in local, regional, and global competitions in math, English, and science to foster healthy competition. The Enrichment Hub complements the core curriculum with programmes in performing arts, STEM, and additional clubs and societies.
SCIA's holistic education emphasises aesthetics, with opportunities to express thoughts through art, music, movement, dance, role-play, and design. The Enrichment Programmes include performing arts as part of after-school options. Students can engage in visual arts, drama, and other creative pursuits through Play Network's arts offerings and clubs.
The CCAs include Khmer Culture Club and Chinese Culture Club, reflecting local and international cultural learning. These clubs promote cultural awareness and cross-cultural understanding. Cultural activities are integrated with SCIA's holistic education framework.
CCAs include a wide range of sports, clubs, and societies such as Basketball, Futsal, Multi-Sports, Swimming, Volleyball, Football, and Dodgeball. Board Games and Chess are offered as social and recreational activities. Khmer Culture Club and Chinese Culture Club provide additional cultural engagement opportunities.
The MORAL component emphasizes social conscience and global awareness through charitable and service-learning activities in the community. Service-learning opportunities are integrated into the student experience as part of SCIA's holistic education. These activities reinforce values of responsibility and community engagement.
SCIA's Leadership programme includes a Character, Leadership and Global Education (CLGE) Programme. The school runs Entrepreneurship and STEM signature programmes that develop creative thinking, collaboration, critical thinking, design thinking, and problem-solving. An Education & Career Guidance (ECG) team supports students in planning for higher education and career pathways.
SCIA's PHYSICAL component provides opportunities to take part in a range of physical activities to develop dexterity and sportsmanship. The Enrichment Hub includes sports and outdoor activities as part of holistic development. These activities contribute to students' health, well-being, and character.
Singapore (Cambodia) International Academy (SCIA) is a K12 international school in Phnom Penh that blends the Singapore and Cambridge curricula to educate learners aged 2–18. The Main Campus sits in One Park, Phnom Penh City Center, with a Pre-School campus nearby in Boeung Keng Kang. English is the language of instruction, with Chinese and Khmer taught as subjects. The Primary School follows Singapore's core subjects (English, Mathematics, Science) and Cambridge Primary Checkpoint, while the High School combines Singaporean Secondary Curriculum with Cambridge Lower Secondary and leads to the IGCSE in Grade 10 and Cambridge AS/A Levels in the senior years. SCIA's signature programmes are Entrepreneurship, Leadership, and STEM, supported by Play Network enrichment. The school opened in August 2018 with 175 students in the first cohort; current total is not published on the site. School hours are Monday–Friday 7:30 AM–5:30 PM and Saturday 7:30 AM–1:00 PM, indicating a day-school model.
