Fee Breakdown

Fees
Application / Admission fee
- Admission (admissions test): CLP 50,000. This fee is paid at the time of application and is non‑refundable.

One‑time entry fees (Cuota de incorporación and Matriculation)
- Entry fee (Cuota de incorporación): First child UF 100; second child and subsequent children UF 80. This is a one‑time, irrevocable payment when joining the school (subject to limited refund rules if the student never actually starts).
- Annual registration (Matrícula) 2026: UF 12.50 (paid each year at enrollment/renewal). The registration payment includes accident coverage through Clínica Alemana and a basic life/coverage policy for the primary financial guarantor.

Tuition (Colegiatura) — annual and instalment detail
- Annual tuition 2026 (Pre‑kinder through IV Medio): UF 193.22 per year.
- Instalment option: The annual tuition may be paid in up to 10 equal monthly instalments. Instalment billing typically runs from March through December. Instalments are due on the monthly due dates established by the school; late or missed instalments can make the total debt immediately due and may incur interest and collection costs.

Sibling discounts and concessions
- Discounts for multiple siblings enrolled concurrently: 10% for the third sibling, 20% for the fourth sibling, and 50% for the fifth sibling and beyond. Additional sibling discount rules are published by the school.

Other recurring or occasional charges
- Parents association fee (Cuota Centro de Padres y Apoderados): CLP 35,000 per family (2025 value shown).
- Extra‑curricular activities and pre‑university/preparatory courses (AGs): Charged separately and billed alongside monthly tuition during the months indicated; payment is required for enrolled activities and withdrawals after start do not automatically stop charges except in specific circumstances (medical or force majeure with documentation).
- Optional extended insurance (CHUBB) plans for additional coverage (values shown in UF on the school fees pages): examples include optional coverage levels for continuation to university and second‑sustainer coverage; these optional premiums are charged in UF. The school includes basic accident coverage and a primary sustainer life/coverage policy within the registration fee; optional additional insurance is available at the stated UF values.

Boarding / Residence fees
- The school does not list any boarding or internado fees; there is no boarding program indicated in the published school fees and payment documents.

Refund and cancellation terms (summary)
- Admission exam: non‑refundable in all cases.
- Entry fee (Cuota de incorporación): generally non‑refundable once the student has started classes; if the fee was paid but the student never began classes, a refund request may be submitted and the school will process a refund under the procedure described by the school (refund paid in CLP at the paid amount, without adjustments).
- Matrícula (registration): not refundable once the student has started classes.
- Annual tuition (Colegiatura): the tuition is treated as a single annual obligation that can be split into instalments for payment convenience. If the annual tuition was paid in advance and the student withdraws, the school may refund the portion of tuition for months after the effective withdrawal date, subject to the school's refund procedures and provided the family is current on all financial obligations. Instalment payers who withdraw after the school year starts may be released from future instalments from the month following written notification and acceptance of withdrawal by the school; specific conditions and documentation requirements apply. Late payments, unpaid balances or non‑compliance can affect refund eligibility.

Billing schedule and payment terms (practical points)
- Annual billing structure: registration (Matrícula) is charged annually at contract/matriculation time; Colegiatura (annual tuition) is invoiced as one annual amount that may be split into up to 10 monthly instalments (commonly March–December). Instalment due dates are set by the school (historically the 5th of each month has been used) and all instalments are equal when split. Failure to keep PAC/OneClick payment arrangements active or to make timely payments is treated as a contract breach and may trigger immediate collection actions. Early full payment discounts have been offered in prior years under specified time windows.

Accepted payment methods and automated payment options
- Accepted methods for registration and fees: Webpay (online card payment), bank transfer (electronic transfer), credit and debit card payments. Automated payment options for tuition include PAC (Pago Automático de Cuentas — automatic debit from bank account) and OneClick (automatic card charge). When enrolling an automatic payment method, families must follow the school's enrollment steps and notify the school to activate PAC registrations.

Contact for fee queries and administrative follow‑up
- The school provides a contact for fee questions and payment procedures; fee offices and named contacts are listed in the school's published fee documents.

Colegio Alemán Chicureo follows a German curriculum for students aged 4 to 18. The program blends a bi-cultural, bilingual approach with a long German educational tradition. Timetables align with Chile's Ministry of Education and the Kultusministerkonferenz. Until grade 4, all subjects are taught in German in a bilingual environment; from grades 5–6, students enter Orientierungsstufe to deepen German-language study, and from grade 7 they may choose German or Spanish instruction with identical content and hours. The curriculum features natural sciences, humanities, and social sciences with a three-language emphasis—German, Spanish, and English—enabling access to international universities. DIA is internationally recognized and leads, after 12 years, to the Allgemeine Hochschulreife, with Abitur study possible at several Chilean universities. The school also offers a broad range of extracurricular activities, including sport, and fosters partnerships with local and international institutions to enrich learning and community life. It prepares students for diverse international universities while upholding ethical principles and social responsibility.
