The Première and Terminale students participated in a geopolitics conference at Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez on current international tensions, focusing on understanding how conflicts develop and unfold. The event enriched their reflection on global affairs and the consequences of geopolitical tensions. An Orientation Forum for students in 3ème to Terminale was scheduled in 2025 to help guide course choices and study pathways.
Book Week activities include author visits, book exchanges, and writing-related events, with contests and literary projects featured in school communications. Examples include short-story contest results and literature-focused activities during the Book Week era.
Languages and culture are nurtured through author visits and bilingual activities during Book Week, such as visits by Chilean author Natacha Oyarzún and related cross-language events. The school also showcases student writing and literary activities tied to multilingual contexts.
Students engage in sports and recreational events, including athletics tournaments at St. Margaret's College and the annual Pichanga League, where house teams compete in football-style games. Be it inter-class leagues or school sports events, sport is a regular part of school life.
Solidarity and community-service efforts are pursued by students, including participation in Techo housing projects at Reñaca Alto and other community campaigns organized by the student body. These actions involve organizing and carrying out service activities with partner organizations.
The Centre des élèves functions as the student council, with elections (CAA) held to determine student leaders and their projects; the 2024 and 2025 election processes are documented on the site. Student leaders coordinate initiatives and represent the student body in school life.

Lycée Français Jean d'Alembert – Viña del Mar is a French international school in Viña del Mar, Chile, affiliated with AEFE. The school delivers a French curriculum from maternelle through Terminale, with French as the language of instruction across disciplines to support homologation within the AEFE network. Students follow a trilingual path with Spanish and English development, including LLCER English, DNL in History-Geography, the EMILE program in primary, and a Model United Nations option. Assessments align with CECRL standards, supported by ongoing teacher training. Itineraries structure learning around citizenship, health education and arts-and-culture (PEAC), with a career-oriented pathway and guidance on higher education in France and abroad (Parcoursup).
