Admission The Scuola Italiana Vittorio Montiglio integrates Chilean and Italian culture and must meet the requirements of both curricula. In the articulation of these curricula, the Scuola should ensure that students feel welcomed in their learning and development process, in order to ensure they can develop all their potential and promote wellbeing throughout their educational trajectory. Because of the nature of the institution, there are priority criteria when determining admission: families who are already members of the school (i.e., siblings of students), followed by children of alumni, then students from parity schools (recognized by the Italian Ministry), subsequently applicants who certify Italian citizenship, and finally those families who identify with Italian culture and with the Educational Project but do not meet the preceding requirements. If families apply for these spots, they must submit medical certificates or specialist reports describing the stated Special Educational Needs (NEE) at the time of application, to plan the accompanying support required.
