The Southland School is recognized as a Cambridge Examinations Center. Cambridge English exams carry international prestige and cover a broad range of academic and vocational topics designed for the international market. Beginning in seventh grade, students begin preparing for the B1 Preliminary exam, which is taken in eighth grade and in ninth grade. In tenth and eleventh grades, students prepare for the B2 First exam. The B2 First certification demonstrates that students have the language skills necessary to communicate in an English-speaking environment and can serve as preparation for higher-level exams such as C1 Advanced. The school provides education with built-in technologies in classrooms to enhance learning.
The Southland School is a bilingual, private, personalized school serving students from age 3 through 18. It follows a bespoke Chilean Scientific‑Humanistic curriculum and a school project that frames learning, character development and community participation.
