The Southland School is a bilingual, private, personalized school serving students from age 3 through 18. It follows a bespoke Chilean Scientific‑Humanistic curriculum and a school project that frames learning, character development and community participation. The school is coeducational and secular, with built‑in classroom technology to enhance each student's skills and encourage personal effort and perseverance. Education is delivered in English and Spanish, with bilingualism as an essential tool for communication in a changing world. The school is a Cambridge Examinations Center, preparing students for B1 Preliminary in seventh grade, B2 First in tenth and eleventh grades, and a C1 Advanced path. A partnership with the Chilean North American Institute provides information and support for applying to United States universities.
