Boarding is a long-standing Wellington College tradition and an extension of education. Hangzhou Huili School offers a bilingual boarding program, and students may apply to board from Year 3. A Boarding House Handbook is available for detailed policies and procedures.
Uniforms are required and come in winter and summer versions; shoes are not included. Daily wear requires plain black leather shoes, while sportswear uses plain colored sneakers. Uniforms can be ordered online during the June–July preorder period with an invitation code, and there is an on-site shop open 8:00–16:30 on school days for purchases; guidelines include neat appearance, knee-length skirts for girls, and simple earrings only.
A dining service is provided on campus. The Facilities and Services Sub-Committee oversees catering services, along with other campus services such as school transport and uniforms, to ensure quality and effectiveness.
Hangzhou Huili School is part of Wellington (China) Education Group. The governance structure includes the Group's Executive Board, a School Advisory Board (SAB), and four specialist committees: Academic Sub-Committee, Facilities and Services Sub-Committee, Finance and HR Sub-Committee, and Safety, Safeguarding and Child Protection Sub-Committee. Hiba Academy Hangzhou (杭州市萧山区惠立学校) is the Wellington/Hiba group bilingual campus in Xiaoshan, offering an on-site nursery plus primary and secondary pathways that lead to IGCSE and A‑Level study. The school opened as part of the Wellington/Hiba group in 2018 and is located at 学知路2399号 in Xiaoshan. Teaching combines bilingual (Chinese–English) immersion with the British-style secondary route (IGCSE → A‑Level). The campus operates a boarding provision (students may apply from Year 3) and a pastoral '幸福关怀' programme; a daily school-bus service is also offered for eligible pupils. The nursery publishes an annual保教费 (tuition) of 249,900元/年 on the school's nursery admissions/fees page. Prospective parents should contact the admissions office for up-to-date year‑group entry ages, current fees for primary/secondary and available places.
