Hiba Academy Hangzhou sits on a purpose-built, state-of-the-art campus in Xiaoshan District. Dining is provided on-site by Sodexo with a nut-free policy, offering Chinese, Western, Italian and vegetarian options. An on-site medical room is staffed by qualified nurses to deliver healthcare and emergency management. A bus service covers major Hangzhou residential areas, with a bus supervisor on each vehicle to ensure safety. An on-site air quality monitoring station tracks temperature, humidity and PM2.5 daily. Boarding is available for pupils in Grade 3 and above in a Wellington College Education (China) Hangzhou boarding house.
Primary division offers football, basketball, swimming, synchronized swimming and badminton, with teams and weekly training. The primary program also includes rugby and dance teams that train during campus activity time and compete in city and national events. Junior high students participate in badminton, football, basketball, swimming and orienteering, with teams and weekly training; there are rugby and dance teams as well. The school hosts a sports day in November and supports ongoing swimming and other athletic competitions.
The campus is a purpose-built, state-of-the-art environment designed to support academic and co-curricular opportunities. Arts spaces provide facilities for ceramics, painting, sculpture, printmaking, drawing, textiles and 3D drawing, with plans to add printing and film equipment. Students use iPads and ICT Mac suites for digital learning across the curriculum. The curriculum follows a Wellington immersion model with about 50% of learning in Chinese and 50% in English. The campus supports Sixth Form studies with English-language A Level pathways.
Arts and performing arts are supported by dedicated spaces and equipment for ceramics, painting, sculpture, printmaking, drawing, textiles and 3D drawing, with upcoming printing and film equipment. Music offerings include one-on-one instrument lessons and co-curricular activities such as drama, choir, orchestra, rock/jazz bands and a DJ group. Sports are organized into school teams (football, basketball, swimming, synchronized swimming, badminton, rugby) with regular training and competitive participation. Boarding is available for Grade 3+ in a dedicated boarding house as part of the holistic Wellington model.
Hiba Academy Hangzhou (杭州市萧山区惠立学校) is the Wellington/Hiba group bilingual campus in Xiaoshan, offering an on-site nursery plus primary and secondary pathways that lead to IGCSE and A‑Level study. The school opened as part of the Wellington/Hiba group in 2018 and is located at 学知路2399号 in Xiaoshan. Teaching combines bilingual (Chinese–English) immersion with the British-style secondary route (IGCSE → A‑Level). The campus operates a boarding provision (students may apply from Year 3) and a pastoral '幸福关怀' programme; a daily school-bus service is also offered for eligible pupils. The nursery publishes an annual保教费 (tuition) of 249,900元/年 on the school's nursery admissions/fees page. Prospective parents should contact the admissions office for up-to-date year‑group entry ages, current fees for primary/secondary and available places.
