LEH International School Foshan is the overseas sister campus of Lady Eleanor Holles School (LEH London) and is associated with the Lady Eleanor Holles registered charity.
The school held an official opening ceremony in January 2021 and welcomed its first cohort of students in September 2021.
Its campus and facilities were developed as a purpose-built day and boarding site with a substantial investment and capacity for several hundred students. In April 2023 LEH Foshan was awarded COBIS Patron's Accredited Member status, reflecting completion of that external accreditation process.
LEH Foshan describes itself as a mixed day and boarding community serving primary and secondary age groups; the school runs regular academic terms alongside a broad schedule of arts, music and sports activities. The school calendar and news feed show community events such as a termly Christmas music concert, art exhibitions and a winter market; the campus also stages larger occasions such as a Founders' Day assembly.
School-led family events and workshops such as a prep‑school reading workshop and a parent “immersion”/Bring‑Your‑Mum‑to‑School day are listed in the school news, and are used to involve parents in classroom practice and student activities.
The school operates a formal Parent Committee that the school describes as the link between families and the school; committee members are nominated and elected by the parent body. The Parent Committee has a published contact email (parent.committee@leh-foshan.cn) for parents to raise questions or offer input. In practice the committee and school staff collaborate on family-facing activities such as reading workshops, classroom‑immersion days and open‑day events that give parents direct contact with teachers and the curriculum.
LEH International School Foshan is the first overseas campus of Lady Eleanor Holles (LEH) London and opened to its first students in September 2021. The school follows an English/British curriculum for students aged 6–18, preparing pupils for IGCSE and A Level qualifications. The campus, designed with sustainability in mind by Scott Brownrigg, includes dedicated sports facilities (4-court sports hall, 25m heated pool, 400m athletics track and large grass sports field) and specialist music and performing-arts provision; the school runs LAMDA and ABRSM exam programmes and is accredited by bodies including COBIS, CAIE and Pearson Edexcel. LEH Foshan is a day and boarding school teaching lessons in English (Chinese and Spanish are taught as language subjects) and operates a school bus service.
