Let the school know you're thinking of applying — they can share their prerequisites and help you through the process.
It's best to ask — circumstances can change at any time.
Ulink Education (the parent organization) was founded in 2003 and opened its second Cambridge International centre in Shanghai in 2005, growing through the 2000s before adding expanded programs and facilities. In 2018 Ulink received authorization to offer the IB Diploma Programme, and in 2022 ULink College of Shanghai entered a formal partnership with the SABIS® Network, creating the SABIS®ULINK joint venture. SABIS®ULINK is operated as a member of the global SABIS® Network, which is a long-established international education management organisation.
The school community is centred on a Student Life Organization (SLO) that runs student-led activities, cultural celebrations and charity drives; recent SLO-run events have included International Day, Chinese Culture Day and Lantern Festival activities. Parents, staff and students routinely take part in those community events, and the school publishes event reports and news through the SABIS network channels.
There is no dedicated, publicly visible PTA page on the school's website as of January 1, 2026; the school instead highlights channels such as the admissions office and the “Prospective Parents” information pages for parent enquiries. Parents are invited to and have participated in school events (for example, International Day and other SLO activities), which indicates routine parent engagement in festivals and performances. The school's Student Life Organization frequently organizes events that bring together students, staff and families, including cultural booths, performances and fundraising activities. If you need details about a formal parent association or regular parent committees (meeting schedules, membership, volunteer roles), the most direct route is to contact the school's admissions or main office using the contact details listed on the school site; they can confirm whether a PTA or parent council exists and share current parent-volunteer opportunities.
